The World Owes Jesus Christ

And so do you.

††† If you are unaware of the brutal social mores before Christ †††

Or that Jesus was the blueprint and catalyst for the world changing movements of Christians: Gandhi (GandhiWasChristian.com), Martin Luther King and slave abolitionists Abraham Lincoln & William Wilberforce and you've not peeked at "How The Catholic Church Built Western Civilization," choosing to shun knowledge of the relationship between Christ and the Western Enlightenment..

and if you think, upon careful review, that Atheist, Muslim, Hindu or perhaps Communist ideologies build freer more successful and stable polities, because you regard yourself a better history analyst and judge of character than Gandhi, Einstein, Martin Luther King, Napoleon, the Apostle Paul..

and if Tolstoy, whose book "A Confession and Other Religious Writings," (MeaningofLife.us) offers no insight as to why you're deceived about the unrivaled good forcefully emanating from the teachings of Christ, or if you can supply a greater more durative influence for good than Jesus or a better treatise on love than 1st Corinthians 13, or better paradigm for society than Jesus' Sermon on the Mount Matthew 5-12 or at Zopolis.com

about which Einstein said: "Jesus' teachings are capable of curing all the social ills of humanity," while Gandhi said, "The Sermon on the Mount, if followed, would solve the problems not only of our countries, but those of the whole world..."

...if all of these still leave you saying, in staggering recalcitrance, "I fail to see any good accomplished by Jesus," then... I can only invite you to cling to and calcify in your right position as recommended in Revelation 22 .

I wish you all the best in this brief life. But since Jesus is exactly whom he claimed to be, expect judgment a split second beyond the grave John 5.

Whoever fails to credit Jesus sins.
Whoever maintains Jesus begets evil
is eternally condemned.

Isn't Earth Under Satan's Rule for Now?

Image

Consider carefully what you see on earth. Would Jesus treat anyone this way? So who does the Bible say is in charge of the earth?

Revelation 12:10-12 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. 12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short."

To whom belongs all authority to give or retract the world's splendor?

Luke 4:3-7 The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread." 4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone.'" 5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 So if you worship me, it will all be yours."

Who is Killing the Earth and Animals? Hosea 4:1-6 Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites, because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. 2 There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. 3 Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying. 4 "But let no man bring a charge, let no man accuse another, for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest. 5 You stumble day and night, and the prophets stumble with you. So I will destroy your mother-- 6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. cf: Jeremiah 12:4

What if I told you Satan was behind much of the Old Covenant and rules this world and has power to crucify even God's Son or Apostles or anyone he pleases?

Satan's horrible Power to Destroy

The invader will do as he pleases; no one will be able to stand against him. He will establish himself in the Beautiful Land and will have the power to destroy it.

Daniel 11:16

What if I told you Satan could destroy Job's entire family, because of 3 things you may find hard to understand:

We are created objects who just got here. God can make more. We are like legos. We are not inherently valuable. "I can raise up children out of these rocks!"

Matthew 3:9 I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham.

A metaphor intended to say: I can create at will, you or anything else far beyond your wildest imaginations.

If you think about it, appealing to atheism's idea that we accidentally came from nothing, is no help to those alleging human life matters. Before the Big Bang, meaning before matter, did anything matter? Atheists, quite stupidly, claim to get their ethics and beliefs from science. Tell me then: Which scientific test do you use and at what point of particle instantiation did morals or purpose arise? What scientific test says the Germans purifying the gene pool according to their preference the way many colonies of insects and animals do, is moral good or moral bad?

We were created, as Genesis 1 and Job tell us, to prove several things:

1. Satan is condemned and is trying to justify why God expects too much praise. Just make some men, and they will not praise or love without immediate earthly benefits. Strike them down and they will curse you to your face, provided YOU DO NO INTERFERE too much. Let me tempt them, hurt them, maim and kill them. You are not so lovable that they will not forsake you to avoid pain or choose you over great wealth, power or even pornographic pleasures.

That will do for now.

Question, if you read the first few chapters of Job, you will notice two things:

1. Satan asks and receives authority to rule over Job completely.

2. Job complains about how God is treating Job.

3. God never tells Job it was Satan at work...and not God.

4. How often is Satan behind the machinations of earth? More than you want to know, I assure you.

5. Job lets the reader in on the purpose of earth: to test man's capacity, even given thousands of years, to produce a "church" and complete set of morals such as Christ brought. And to see if men would choose the truth and love God in any and all circumstance.

The World is Under Satan's Authority

Image

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

What? Jesus purchased us with his own blood? A buyer means a seller. But who owned us? Satan. Light was not in the world until Jesus came. (John 1-3)

We were merely objects before Christ.

Ephesians 2:3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

(This does not mean some were not in touch with Christ before he appeared. They were. The rock from which the Israelites drank was Christ.)

Satan is more important to God than you think

Satan is more important to God, a former son and best friend, than you realize:

Jude 1:9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

Satan is a mover and shaker in the heavenly realms. He has certain rights, because at one time, he was a perfect friend of GOD.

Ezekiel 28:12-15 "Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. 14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. 15 You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.

Satan has rights over those who free themselves of wisdom, knowledge and God's authority.

1 Corinthians 5:4-5 When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5 hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.

Jesus affirms this world belongs to Satan:
"My Kingdom is not of this world." John 18.36

Then whose Kingdom was earth since the Fall from Eden? Apparently the world belonged to Satan until stewardship changed hands to Christ:

Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

The Handing over of the Kingdom to Jesus is mentioned in Isaiah:

Isaiah 22:12-25 The Lord, the LORD Almighty, called you on that day to weep and to wail, to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth. 13 But see, there is joy and revelry, slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine! "Let us eat and drink," you say, "for tomorrow we die!" 14 The LORD Almighty has revealed this in my hearing: "Till your dying day this sin will not be atoned for," says the Lord, the LORD Almighty. 15 This is what the Lord, the LORD Almighty, says: "Go, say to this steward, to Shebna, who is in charge of the palace: 16 What are you doing here and who gave you permission to cut out a grave for yourself here, hewing your grave on the height and chiseling your resting place in the rock? 17 "Beware, the LORD is about to take firm hold of you and hurl you away, O you mighty man. 18 He will roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into a large country. There you will die and there your splendid chariots will remain-- you disgrace to your master's house! 19 I will depose you from your office, and you will be ousted from your position. 20 "In that day I will summon my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah. 21 I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash around him and hand your authority over to him. He will be a father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. 22 I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 23 I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will be a seat of honor for the house of his father. 24 All the glory of his family will hang on him: its offspring and offshoots-- all its lesser vessels, from the bowls to all the jars. 25 "In that day," declares the LORD Almighty, "the peg driven into the firm place will give way; it will be sheared off and will fall, and the load hanging on it will be cut down." The LORD has spoken.

How do we know Eliakim son of Hilkiah is Jesus, father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the house of Judah, described as possessing the key to the house of David, one of such power that what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open?

Revelation 3:7-9 "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9 I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars-- I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

††† Is there a better moral example?

GOD crossed the sky, entered the ground and arose from the dead - for your love. If another is more worthy, love him. Are we not all in debt to the one who said, "Let him without sin cast the first stone?"

Listen well

Luke 13:23-30 Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' 26 "Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' 27 "But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!' 28 "There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

Highlights

John 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

John 24 I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. 25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
